Nature
Hrishikesh Goswami
Today nature has
Idyllically seated herself
Over the forked ancient
Substantial auburn branches of the peepal.
She has robed herself up
In spotless outfits of green,
And has decided to
Give her a bit of rest.
Positivity has spread
Like wild fire
And the fishes whirling
In the waters below the people
Are getting enough food
To nourish their young ones.
The robins in the woods
Are singing earthly songs
But in an altered tone
Never heard by men
I will love to tell you that
Our nature is now ready,
Equipped to take up more encumbrances
Which you are thinking of
Bestowing upon her lap.
