Andrea Chesman is the author of more than twenty cookbooks, mostly focusing on preparing food from the garden and homestead. Her fiction has appeared in The Offbeat, online in The Bangalore Review, Write Launch, and Green Mountains Review and in the print anthology Twisted, published by Medusa's Laugh Press, which nominated her short story for a Pushcart Prize. She lives in an old farmhouse in Vermont, where Robert Frost used to take his meals when he lived in the cottage across the street.

Dennis Donoghue has previously contributed stories to BLR. His memoir, The Final One Eighty, about his last year teaching sixth grade, was recently published by Adelaide Books.

Wilson Koewing is a writer from South Carolina. He received an MFA in creative writing from The University of New Orleans. He lives in Denver, Colorado. Sharon Lacour grew up in New Orleans and most of her writing takes place around there. She has worked as a piano instructor for over 35 years and currently live in the upper Midwest. Sharon has had stories published in the Xavier Review, the Arkansas Review, Six Hens, and an anthology by Propertius Press.
Jim McGarrah is the author of ten books. Running the Voodoo Down on the Elixir Press Poetry Prize in 2003. His new collection of poems, A Balancing Act was published by Lamar University Press in May of 2018. A memoir of war entitled A Temporary Sort of Peace (Indiana Historical Society Press, 2007) won the national Eric Hoffer Legacy Nonfiction Award. Blue Heron Book Works published McGarrah’s newest nonfiction book in May, 2017 entitled Misdemeanor Outlaw. You may read his more recent poems and essays in The American Journal of Poetry, Barcelona Review, Cincinnati Review, North American Review, and Poetry Southeast, among others.
Foster Trecost writes stories that are mostly made up. They tend to follow his attention span: sometimes short, and sometimes very short. Foster's recent work has appeared in Peacock Journal, New World Writing, and Eunoia Review. He lives in New Orleans.
