​I feel like I’m always
brushing my teeth or showering. like
there are small periods of time
and then I brush my teeth again.
I’m always
peeing or doing laundry.
switching a load to the dryer or folding.
always cold.
undressing and freezing
blue feet
on the cold tile floor.
that’s what depression is like –
trying to shower
but the bathroom is so cold
it’s just too fucking cold
and I’m too fucking tired
to even stand up.
