Cathy Adams’ latest novel, A Body’s Just as Dead, was published by SFK Press. Her writing has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is a short story writer with publications in The Saturday Evening Post, Utne, AE: The Canadian Science Fiction Review, Barely South, Five on the Fifth, Southern Pacific Review, and 72 other journals from around the world. She earned her M.F.A. at Rainier Writing Workshop, Pacific Lutheran University, Washington. She is a faculty member at the American University in Bulgaria.

​​Richard Dinges, Jr. works on his homestead beside a drying pond, surrounded by trees and grassland, with his wife, two dogs, one cat, and eleven chickens. Stickman Review, Hurricane Review, Ellipsis, Blue Lake Review, and Cardinal Sins most recently accepted his words for their publications.

Anna Engstrom is a writer of historical fiction, fantasy, drama, and stories for the whole family. She is earning a Bachelor of Science in creative writing at Full Sail University. When she isn’t writing, Anna loves attempting to bake gluten free treats, as well as walking through the woods and beaches beside Lake Michigan and dreaming of being a fairy of the woods or a pirate on the beach.

John Grindstaff has led a varied life, from working as a laborer, to experiencing homelessness, to being a caregiver. He was once an avid hiker, but now spends most of his time reading and writing stories.

William Ogden Haynes is a poet and author of short fiction from Alabama who was born in Michigan. He has published several collections of poetry and many of his poems and short stories have appeared in literary journals and anthologies.

Craig Inanen is a musician who lives in the Midwest USA. His work has been most recently published in Alma Magazine. It will also be featured in the Black Hare Press Year Eight Anthology. His crime, police procedural and speculative fiction often include historical elements.

Richard King Perkins II is a state-sponsored advocate for residents in long-term care facilities. He lives in Huntley, IL, with his wife, Vickie and daughter, Sage. He is a ten-time Pushcart, Best of the Net and Best of the Web nominee whose work has appeared in more than fifteen hundred publications including The Louisiana Review, Plainsongs, Texas Review, Hawai’i Review, Roanoke Review, Sugar House Review and The William and Mary Review. His poem “Grease Poet” was a prize winner of the Woodrow Hall award for enduring excellence. His poem "Nemesis” received the Songs of Eretz Editor's Choice award.

 Hayley Phillips -- A Virginia native, Hayley Phillips received her MFA from Randolph College in 2021 and is now a PhD candidate at Louisiana State University. Her work is included in Blue Earth Review, ONE ART, Evergreen Review, Appalachian Review and elsewhere.

Ken Post -- Originally from the suburbs of New Jersey, Ken worked for the Forest Service in Alaska for 40 years. During the long, dark winters, He writes short stories. His fiction has appeared in descant, Cirque, Red Fez, Underwood Press, Poor Yorick, Woven Tale Press, and Kansas City Voices. His stories have been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes and his collection of short stories, Greyhound Cowboy and Other Stories, was published by Cornerstone Press.

Ron Riekki has been awarded a 2014 Michigan Notable Book, 2015 The Best Small Fictions, 2016 Shenandoah Fiction Prize, 2016 IPPY Award, 2019 Red Rock Film Fest Award, 2019 Best of the Net finalist, 2019 Très Court International Film Festival Audience Award and Grand Prix, 2020 Dracula Film Festival Vladutz Trophy, 2020 Rhysling Anthology inclusion, and 2022 Pushcart Prize. 

Chuck Snearly is an award-winning writer who has worked as a reporter, communications consultant and speechwriter for four decades. He has written one nonfiction book, Speech Right: How to Write a Great Speech, and three novels: The Guardian of Detritus, Far Out Man and The Bluegrass Devils of Detroit.

Sophie Tao is a student poet originally from the Bay Area and currently pursuing a BFA in Communication Design at Washington University in St. Louis. Woven into her life and writing is a deep impulse for self-expression and love of art, from classical music to 19th-century painting to digital product design. In her free time, she can be found playing the piano or petting her cat.
