Lauren Bush is an undergraduate Creative Writing major at Stephen F. Austin State University. Her works have been included in HUMID Literary Journal, CEO Literary Magazine, and The Sigma Tau Delta Rectangle.
Ahmed Elguindi is a New York based poet under the alias of "Stained Napkins". He has performed at various open mics in Queens and Manhattan such as the Nuyorican, Woodside Open Mic, and Columbia's Postcrypt Coffeehouse. All of his poetry is available at his Instagram @stainednapkins
.Sari Friedman's writing has been nominated for Pushcarts and her stories have recently appeared in The Beloit Fiction Journal and The Woven Tale Press Arts and Literary Journal. She earned a MFA from Columbia University and went on to teach writing to at-risk youth in NYC and California.
Ralph Cherbo Geeplay was born in Pleebo, Southeastern Liberia, West Africa. He is among the younger Liberian youth who were forced to attend college during the brutal Liberian civil war. Geeplay, studied at the University of Liberia, majoring in Journalism, and while still a student worked in the media during the 1990s, starting in radio broadcasting at the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), the national radio, and later worked with Radio Liberty before freelancing with Radio Monrovia where he worked as a producer and reporter. He later transitioned to the print media, particularly, with the Monrovia Inquirer Newspaper, where he worked as a senior staff reporter. Geeplay published his first set of poems in 2009 in the Liberian Sea Breeze Journal, edited by Stephanie Horton. His themes include: Africa, the Liberian civil war and its tragedy, his Grebo heritage, and everything in between. He is the editor of an online journal, The Liberian Listener, and lives in Edmonton Alberta, Canada, with his family.
Alan Humason is a writer in Fort Bragg, CA. He has published short fiction and poetry over the years in such periodicals as Flash International Short Story Magazine, Third Wednesday, The Longleaf Pine, The Reed, and The Yolo Crow. Alan has a BA in English Literature from UC Santa Barbara. In graduate school, he won the Grand Prize Phelan Award from San Jose State University.
Andrew Miller retired from a career that included university teaching and research in endangered species and aquatic habitat restoration. Now he has time to pursue his long-held interest in creative writing. Josh Penzone earned his Masters in Creative Writing from Wilkes University. His work has appeared in Five on the Fifth, Eunoia Review, Chantwood Magazine and elsewhere. He's also been nominated for a Pushcart.

Thomas Piekarski is a former editor of the California State Poetry Quarterly. His poetry and interviews have appeared in literary journals internationally, including Nimrod, Florida English Journal, Cream City Review, Mandala Journal, Poetry Salzburg, Poetry Quarterly, Pennsylvania Literary Journal, and Boston Poetry Magazine. He has published a travel book, Best Choices in Norther California, and Time Lines, a book of poems.
Susan Beckham Zurenda -- Receiving her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Converse College, Susan Beckham Zurenda taught English for 33 years at Spartanburg Community College and as an AP English teacher at Spartanburg High School in South Carolina. She retired from full-time teaching in 2013 and began work as a publicist for Magic Time Literary Agency based in Spartanburg. Her fiction writing accomplishments include winner in Alabama Conclave First Chapter Novel Prize, Carolina Woman Magazine Fiction Contest, The Southern Writers Symposium Emerging Writers Fiction Contest, two-time winner of the Jubilee Writing Competition, two-time winner of The South Carolina Fiction Project with one story reprinted in Inheritance: Selections from the SC Fiction Project, winner of the Hub City Hardegree Creative Writing Contest in Fiction, and winner in the Porter Fleming Writing Competition. She has published a number of nonfiction pieces.
