Dissociation
Cathy Joyce Lee
I am not me
I was, but not now
The days blend into one
then separate and disappear
pulling me together
tearing me apart
Wherever I am
I want to be somewhere else
Someone else
I left the past
in a silhouette sunset
shading myself from the pain
and taking a new life with me
Broken apart
and reassembled
Some pieces are missing
in shattered dimensions
I do not know
who I will be
